Our
brief for this project was to produce a scheme of
apartments for a site previously occupied by a public
house and a car repair workshop. We gained planning
approval for 32 flats and apartments and associated
parking in a three storey building fronting the main
street and a pedestrian right of way leading to existing
housing to the south.
The design is in
load bearing masonry with casement windows in a regular
pattern. The corner of the building is given prominence
by an overhanging roofline and projecting balconies.
